Office of the Prime Minister 80 Wellington Street Ottawa, ON K1A 0A2 Dear Prime Minister, I’m writing to you today because Canada is failing it’s religious minorities. No one should be treated as second-class citizens. Since Bill 21 was passed in Quebec, our communities nation-wide are in disbelief that such a law can exist in Canada. That a woman wearing a hijab or a man wearing a kippah cannot become teachers, prosecutors or police officers is a big step back for the human rights of Canadians. We have been fighting in court to stop this from day 1 - and while part of Bill 21 was struck down, it is still largely in effect. We need the federal government to commit to stopping Bill 21.
