NCCM Fundraising Dinner 2019
Join us, along with special guests Mo Amer and Mehdi Hasan, for an evening of laughter and political perspective as we raise money to support the work of the NCCM!
The National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) is proud to be hosting a well-anticipated fundraising dinner in Toronto on April 26, 2019. This year, we will be bringing two well-known guests: Mo Amer, a Palestinian-American comedian famous for his Netflix special ‘The Vagabond’, and Mehdi Hasan, prominent journalist, broadcaster and author. Together, they are sure to create a memorable evening for us all!
The National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit organization that protects Canadian human rights and civil liberties. We accomplish this by challenging discrimination and Islamophobia, building mutual understanding, and advocating for the public concerns of Canadian Muslims across diverse sectors.
As part of this work, we have trained thousands of educators, students and executives on Islamophobia and inclusiveness in classrooms, workplaces and elsewhere, and have resolved hundreds of individual human rights cases involving Canadian Muslims who have faced discrimination based on their religious identity.
As an independent organization, we rely heavily on your support to enable us to continue our work on behalf of our communities. Please consider how you can support NCCM through purchasing a ticket (or table!):
Regular ticket: $100
Student ticket: $75
Standard table (10x regular tickets): $900
Student table (10x student tickets): $500
