Tell Premier Jason Kenney and the Mayors of Alberta that we need to dismantle white supremacist organizations in Alberta

On December 8, 2020, a man attacked two Black Muslim women in Edmonton in the parking lot of a mall. A few days later, another young Black Muslim woman was attacked on public transportation in Edmonton. These attacks happened in the context of rising hate crimes against Albertan Muslims and the emboldening of white supremacists and neo-Nazi organization in the province.

According to research conducted by Dr. Barbara Perry, right-wing extremist and white supremacist organizations in Canada have grown from 100 in 2015 to 300. Alberta is a major hub of these organizations.

Alberta needs to take action now to dismantle these groups. We are calling on Premier Kenney to create a provincial action plan to dismantle white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups.
