Tooba Syed is a multidisciplinary designer. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Tooba is now based in the GTA.

Some of her previous work and research has explored Islamophobia in Canada and the roots of systemic stereotyping in North America through her design practice. She works a lot with themes of identity, culture and language. Much of her work is related to symbols in her daily life with contexts of where she lives or has lived. 

She studied graphic design at OCAD University in Toronto.  Tooba runs her own photography page and is an aspiring filmmaker.
