Farheen is currently pursuing her B.Eng in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University. During her time on campus, she has worked on various key projects. Most notably, the Carleton University Simulator Project, where she designed and developed the user interface for a flight simulator. Currently, she works on a design for a retractable landing gear system in her Avionics term project.
She previously worked as a Multimedia Technician with the Employment and Social Development Canada, where she created accessible online training products using various multimedia technologies. Her diverse technical expertise also includes web development, marketing, and database management.
She has served as the VP Multimedia with the Carleton University Muslim Students’ Association and continues to volunteer as a graphic designer. With a keen interest in politics, she participated in several Model UNs, and she had the opportunity to visit the UN headquarters in New York with the Yale University Model UN team. Farheen also has an avid enthusiasm for adventure sports and travel.
