Janine Dhaibi

Janine Dhaibi is an Edmonton-based lawyer practicing in commercial and construction litigation. She obtained both her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Alberta. Born and raised in Edmonton, Janine has deep roots to the city. Daniel Kuhlen

Daniel J. Kuhlen B.A., LL.B, R.S.W., University of Saskatchewan Senior Legal Counsel Before joining NCCM, Daniel engaged in private law practice. He subsequently worked as legal counsel with the Department of Justice (Canada) and, thereafter, he worked at the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. Rizwan Mohammad

Rizwan Mohammad graduated from the University of Toronto specializing in Islamic Studies. Prior to joining NCCM, he conducted research on Islamic thought and Muslim life, educated leaders of Muslim Students' Associations, and served a diverse array of Muslim-led community organizations across Canada. For over 10 years, Rizwan managed national civic engagement projects focusing on mobilizing youth and community leaders in active citizenship and to engage in service learning activities designed to strengthen civil society. Fatema Abdalla

Fatema graduated with a degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Ottawa, and is motivated to bring change in marginalized communities. With this purpose in mind, while in Ottawa Fatema became an active volunteer and community leader on campus and in local politics. She has a wide variety of experience in non-profit, public service, and campaign environments. Jannat Firdous

Jannat Firdous is NCCM's Education Coordinator. She has previously worked as a teacher for Syrian Refugee Students within the Niagara school board and on advocating for women’s educational success as an assistant coordinator at the YWCA Hamilton.
