Urge the Canadian Government to Condemn the Attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque

The reports, videos and photos emerging from Jerusalem are absolutely clear. With impunity, Israeli forces violated the internationally recognized sanctity of the Al Aqsa Mosque, one of the most sacred sites for Muslims worldwide. They attacked Palestinian worshippers as they prayed peacefully during Ramadan. This pattern of attacks during Ramadan every year in the recent past are an egregious violation of international law and must be condemned.

This heartless assault during Ramadan by Israeli forces on one of the most inviolable sites for Muslims, and their flagrant violation of the human rights of Palestinians under international law, must be categorically condemned.

YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Send a letter to Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly today to demand that our government:

  1. Publicly condemns the Israeli incursions onto Al Aqsa and the killing of multiple civilians over the past few weeks violence
  2. Works with their counterparts on the ground to work towards a peaceful resolution of the situation before further violence breaks out.
  3. Chart forward a clear and public vision for how to hold Israel, one of Canada’s allies, accountable for repeatedly breaking international human rights law.
