Federal Election 2021

This election, we ask for accountability.

All of our political leaders have spent the last two years talking about how Islamophobia, discrimination and hate are unacceptable. This election, ask your local candidates what they are doing to go beyond words. The safety, security, and dignity of our communities matter.

NCCM is teaming up with The Canadian Muslim Vote (TCMV) to ensure that voters are equipped with the tools they need to cast their vote and to hold their local candidates accountable.

Become a changemaker

This election, you can become a changemaker in your community with the tools below:

1. Poster: Put up posters at your local community centres, mosques and restaurants. Download a poster here.

2. Pamphlet: Ask your local candidates what they are doing to combat Islamophobia. See our pamphlet for an easy guide to what you can ask when candidates come knocking at your door.

3. Policy Guide (for French, click here): Read NCCM’s policy recommendations to find out what your local candidates should commit to so we can see real change for the safety and dignity of our communities.
